The USA Gymnastics Developmental Program Level 10 Regionals are this weekend (Thursday through Sunday). This is where the vast majority of the next crop of NCAA gymnasts are competing head-to-head. The 2022 grads (frosh in the 2022-2023) are mostly competing in the Senior F, E and D age groups. The 2023 grads are in the Senior A, B and C age groups (exceptions are noted) The Top 7 in each Regional automatically qualify to DP L10 Nationals as long as they hit a minimum AA score of 35.0. Shris Waller has resigned as Head Coach at UCLA, effective immediately. He's been Head Coach at the program the last three seasons and on the staff for the last twenty.
Four Gymnastics finalists for the Honda Award have been named: Oregon State's Jade Carey, Auburns Sunisa Lee, Minnesota's Lexy Ramler and Florida's Trinity Thomas. The winner will be announced later this week, after voting from over 1,000 administrators.
