Payton McClain, a L10 at Queen City, who was previously committed to Michigan State, has committed to a full scholarship offer at Nebraska, starting in 2027-2028. This past season, she won the VT, tied for 5th AA and tied for 8th on UB at the Women's Development Program L10 Nationals. She also placed 5th at the 2026 Nastia Liukin Cup.

Daelin Diaz-Luong has committed to Minnesota, starting in 2026-2027. She was originally signed with PSU. This past season, she tied for 25th AA and placed 10th on BB at the 2026 Women's Development Program (WDP) L10 Nationals. She also tied for 6th AA, placed 3rd on UB and tied for 9th on FX at the 2025 WDP L10 Nationals.

Italian National Team member Veronica Mandriota has committed to Kentucky, starting in 2026-2027. This past season, she has competed on up to three events in the Italian Series, placing 3rd on FX at the 3rd Italian Serie A meet. She competed for Italy at the University Games in 2025, placing 15th AA in the Final.

Alaska will welcome five newcomers for 2026-2027: Callee Botts, Georgina Gibson, Elena Markley, Aiyana Thomas and Giorgia Wilson. The commits of Gibson, Markley and Wilson were previously covered. Botts is a L10 from Pure Gymnastics and is a three-time L10 Regional qualifier. This past season, she placed 3rd on BB and 10th AA at the Region 3 L10 Regionals. Thomas is a junior transfer from Fisk. She competed on up to three events for Fisk, with career highs of 9.775 on VT, 9.75 on BB and 9.75 on FX.

Colby Kessler, a L10 from Sonshine, has committed to a combination full athletic/academic scholarship at Towson, starting in 2027-2028. This past season, she tied for 31st AA at the 2026 Women's Development Program (WDP) L10 Nationals. She also placed 10th AA and 5th on FX at the 2025 Region 8 L10 Regionals.

Penn State has hired Jennifer Green as their new Head Coach. Green has been Head Coach at Air Force since 2021, and was named Mountain West Conference Coach of the Year this past season. Green spent six years as an assistant at Iowa and two at Missouri. She also has 16 years of club coaching experience at Kansas Gymnastics and Cheer as well as Elite Gymnastics Club (KS). As Jennifer Lyerly, she was an All-American on VT at LSU.

Majken Holmgren-Zunti, who trains as a National Open athlete at the Calgary Gym Centre, has committed to a full athletic scholarship offer at Auburn, starting in 2027-2028. This past season, she placed 7th AA and 2nd on BB on day 2 of the 2026 Canadian Championships, National Open (a level between elite and Canadian L10). She also placed 3rd on UB and 13th AA at the 2025 Canadian Championships, in the National Open division.

Penn has hired India Anderson as an assistant coach. She had been an assistant at GWU the last two seasons. Prior to that, she was at Fisk and Ursinus. She was also a student-athlete at Temple.

Freya Reid, a New Zealand National Team member, has accepted an offer of a full athletic scholarship at Michigan State, starting in 2026-2027. Earlier this season, she won a bronze on BB at the 2026 Oceana Championships. She also represented New Zealand at the World Championships in 2025, and at several World Cup events.

Caitlin McWilliams will use her fifth of eligibility while pursuing a master's at Iowa. She graduated from the University of Washington this spring, where she competed on up to three events, but primarily on FX.

Bridgeport has hired Alonna Kratzer as an assistant coach. The former Mizzou athlete and elite gymnast had been coaching at SCSU.

Penn has promoted Johanny Sotillo-Alston from volunteer assistant to an assistant coach. Prior to that, she was an assistant at Air Force and a club coach at Atlantic Coast, 5280 and Will-Moor. She was a former ten-time National Team member for Venezuela.

Nyla Williams, a L10 from Thrive, has committed to a full scholarship offer at Rutgers, starting in 2027-2028. This past season, she placed 12th AA and tied for 10th on BB at the 2026 Women's Development Program (WDP) L10 Nationals. She also tied for 8th on FX and placed 20th AA at the 2025 WDP L10 Nationals.
